My wife and I were finally allowed into our unit today to get anything we needed and to clean out our fridge. To our amazement, everything was as it was when we left. Of course with the exception of the spoiled food in the fridge. But hey, having raspberry juice all over your freezer is far preferable to having water all over your furniture and brand new floors. We totally dodged a bullet on this one, and we’re grateful for it! However, we’re all still homeless as the management company need to complete their assessment of the damanges to the buildings utilities. We can’t move back in until we get the all clear. So, it still sucks.
