Merger is when two company decide and agree to merge into one.

It doesn&#039;t matter whether HP &amp; Compaq&#039;s merger end up good or bad, it&#039;s irrelevant.

If Microsoft buy a company that my friend own, is that a merger? No, that means Microsoft acquired my friend&#039;s company.</description>

As far as HP and Compaq, how&#039;s that working out these days? Remember that awesome thing they came out with last year? :)</description>
